At Southern Shores Contracting, we’re more than just builders—we’re a family-owned company with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, specializing in custom outdoor enclosures, pool screens, patio covers, and motorized retractable screens throughout the Panama City, Florida area.

Construction has always been in our blood. From a young age, I worked alongside my father on roofing and renovation projects—installing shingles at just 10 years old. That passion for building only grew stronger over the years, eventually leading me to start my own contracting business in 1999. For nearly a decade, I took on everything from new home construction and additions to remodels and outdoor living spaces.

When the 2007 recession hit, I pivoted to manage a national storm restoration company. Overseeing the renovation of thousands of storm-damaged homes taught me not only the value of efficiency and precision but also the importance of customer service on a large scale. From there, I transitioned into the supply side of construction, managing contractor-focused building material facilities. It was during this time I noticed a gap—our local area was lacking reliable, detail-oriented outdoor contractors who value quality over quantity.

That realization is what brought me back to what I love most—building. Today, Southern Shores Contracting is focused on raising the standard for screen enclosures, aluminum patio covers, motorized screens, and outdoor shade solutions in the Florida Panhandle.
